About Jayden Marriott
My name is Jayden Marriott, and I am a part time artist living in New South Wales, Australia.
I have always enjoyed creating art that is deeply inspired by emotions and energy.
Art has always been a part of my life, however, in October of 2022, I decided to take the leap and post my artwork online for the world to see.
Since then, I have been fortunate enough to continue to connect with art collectors around the globe. Thank you!
Collections and Big Ideas
My style in the past several years took a turn to more abstract ideas based upon emotions and energy, something that has always been present in my work, but was never the full focus until now. By relying on intuition, the paintings become born, being a representation of the world at that exact second the brush hits the canvas.
Ideas come first, which allows for the most raw and authentic marks and movements to be the first priority on the canvas. When creating, each piece has an energy to it, which to me, resembles a collection. My collections then end when that energy no longer exists in me, then a new collection starts. This allows for a cohesive narrative to be told, collection by collection. Each painting had written in its description what collection it is apart of.
I don’t want to tell you too much, because these pieces need to also speak through you. What you see and what you feel is equally just as important as what I feel when making them. Really sit with them and dissect them, thats all I can ask for,
