My style in the past several years took a turn to more abstract ideas based upon emotions and energy, something that has always been present in my work, but was never the full focus until now. By relying on intuition, the paintings become born, being a representation of the world at that exact second the brush hits the canvas.

My inspiration for these works comes from breaking down the world in front of me, observing every detail, from relationships between movement, exaggerations of colour, the soundscape of the world and my mind.

All of these details are all stored so close to my soul. They change and evolve. The art becomes more than just what I observed, but it draws extremely close relations with my emotions and energy.

I truly believe that the best art humanity has ever created, has come from such a deep, authentic, and vulnerable place in the human soul, that can only be expressed if you let yourself create unapologetically. This is my goal as an artist, to open up worlds that would not have been possible without allowing myself to commit fully to expressing my soul on a canvas, wishing for it to be viewed for eternity.

All I can ask is for you to sit with the piece that feels tethered to your soul, and just feel.
