”White Plastic Chairs”
62.5cm x 45cm at the furthest points
Mixed Media on Recycled Paper
My studio is always filled with little scraps of paper of failed drawings, planning or just little notes. This artwork is truly unique, with the canvas being made out of these pieces of paper, to repurpose them into something bigger.
These chairs are the most recognisable in the world. They hold so many memories in so many different ways to so many different people. To me, they remind me of family birthdays, sitting around the bbq waiting for our food, or Christmas afternoon, where everyone is swimming in the last light of the day. The memories and stories that come from these chairs is something special I will always appreciate.
This piece will not come framed. It is highly recommended that you frame this piece once it arrives to help preserve the paper and materials to ensure it lasts a lifetime.
